Our lovely home is located in a quiet, uncongested, and green environment on the upscale heights of La Baule, 1500 meters from the city center and the magnificent 9 Km long fine sand beach, at the heart of a superb region which has so much to offer whether in terms of touristic sites, sports activities, hiking, biking, or horse riding, or in terms of cultural, historical and gastronomical content. We have done everything we could to procure to our guests the maximum comfort, serenity, and well being, and, we hope, an unforgettable stay with us.
Description of Chambres D'Hotes:On the first floor of our cozy, modern and recently built Architect home with its beautiful flowery garden and its large terrace facing due south, we offer our guests 5 beautiful rooms specifically designed and built with the hosting of bed and breakfast in mind. The rooms can accommodate up to 12 people maximum in total.
We are located in a quiet, uncongested, and green environment on the upscale heights of La Baule, 1500 meters from the city center and the magnificent 9 Km long fine sand beach, at the heart of a superb region which has so much to offer whether in terms of touristic sites, sports activities, hiking, biking, or horse riding, or in terms of cultural, historical and gastronomical content. We have done everything we could to procure to our guests the maximum comfort, serenity, and well being, and, we hope, an unforgettable stay with us.
Our large and charming rooms are sound proofed, exquisitely and finely furnished offering thereby a very high class and comfortable hosting coming in a variety of 5 themes conductive to relaxation and change of scenery. As a matter of fact, we have been inspired by our travels around the world with the different countries cultures discovered and which we learnt to appreciate over time. The 5 themes are the Mediterranean area, Indochina with Vietnam, the Orient, Indonesia and Japan.
All the rooms have their private bathroom and toilets, luxuriously equipped and furnished for optimal comfort. The bathrooms are spacious, luminous with walls completely covered with beautiful tiling assorted with the rooms color tones and equipped with showers and non slippery shower trays. We also have included small magnifying mirrors and a small table and chair or stool for the ladies making up. Hair dryers can also be supplied upon request. The bathroom floors are made out of rare oiled Burma teak wood with black joints similar to those on ship's decks procuring unequalled soft touch and feel.
The rooms floors are also made of different luxury woods such as Cumaru, otherwise known as Brazilain Teak (Dipteryx odorata), Merbeau (with the scientific name "Intsia biuga / Intsia palembanica spp"), Massaranduba (Manilkara bidentata), and Sucupira, a beautifully veined wood which has a long list of commercial names. The bed heads are made of rare woods such as the Africain Wenge (Milletia Laurentii) and the South American Zebrano (Astronium Graveolens).
The rooms are equipped with flat screens LCD television sets, DVD players and mini HiFi systems (except for one which only has a flat screen TV). Three rooms have spacious wall cupboards with mirrored sliding doors while the other two have a teak wood wardrobe with shelves and closet. We have also included in the rooms an electric kettle, cups, glasses, a jug, tea, coffee, sugar, chocolate and mineral water.
For more comfort of our guests, all the rooms have their own lounge suite consisting of 2 armchairs for reading, a coffee table and a console. An internet WiFi connection is available. A particular attention has been paid to the lighting of the rooms through the soft and indirect LED light of the bedheads, the bedside lamps, the ceiling lights and the chandeliers.
Our choice of hearty French or English breakfasts consisting of pastries, delicious French freshly baked bread from Escoublac, , home-made jams and brioche, salted butter from nearby Guérande salt pan, honeys, fried eggs or omelette, salted or dry ham or bacon, home-made yogurt and soft white cheese, fruit juices, filter and or expresso coffee brewed from the best Arabica grades, green or black tea, all served in our superb English fine bone china.
Last and not least, our home is certified by Fleurs de Soleil, which is the only French certification label for Bed and Breakfast rooms to have been certified by ISO 9001 (ISO, International Organisation for Standardization). The ISO 9001 certification specifies requirements for a quality management system where an organization needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide product that meets customer and applicable regulatory requirements, and aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for continual improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable regulatory requirements.
