........just a short walk from the town centre, our very beautiful Chambres d'Hôtes awaits you. We are artists, originally from Guernsey, our home is a late Victorian style Pavilion built in 1920, it has many authentic features and is decorated in a contemporary style, with all modern amenities. Throughout the house and garden you will find examples of our art. On the 1st floor we have four bedrooms available: each of them a different size and individually decorated in a bright and luminous contemporary style. All the double bedrooms have their own ensuite showers/w.c.
Description of Chambres D'Hotes:We are artists, originally from Guernsey, Channel islands. Valerie is a painter and Christophe is a sculptor. We exhibit our work in galleries and in salons d'art throughout France.
We welcome visitors our home 'Le Quatorze' in Questembert; to stay in our Chambres d'Hotes, to visit our
ateliers, gallery or sculpture garden.
Our home is a late Victorian style Pavilion built in 1920, it has many authentic features and is decorated in a contemporary style, with all modern amenties. We are situated 100 yards from the town centre and 100 yards from one of the many beautiful walks/cycle paths in the area. We have secure off road parking in our enclosed garden facing south west.
You will find examples of our art, both paintings and sculptures throughout the house and in the garden.
We have four bedrooms available, 1 family room, 2 doubles and 1 twin. Each of them are a different size and they are individually decorated in a bright and luminous contemporary style. All the bedrooms have private facilities with shower, WC., and wash basin. .
Breakfast is served either in the dining room, the conservatory or on the terrace, depending on the weather and your preferences. We offer a choice of fresh croissants and bread from one of the many local boulangeries, plus cereals/muesli, yoghurt, jam and honey from the region, fruit juices, tea, infusions and coffee.
During your stay you will be welcome to visit our studios, you can also relax on a deck chair in the garden. There is a sitting room with TV (french only) on the ground floor, for the exclusive use of guests during the day or evening.

DirectionsQuestembert is situated in the Morbihan region of Southern Brittany, 89 km from Rennes and 92km from Nantes and 20km from the south coast.
From the town centre roundabout (by the post office) take the D1c/rue Cadoudal, in the direction of Peaulé and La Roche-Bernard, you will find Le Quatorze 100 metres on your right.
From the North (Rennes, St Malo etc), turn off the N166 onto the D5 at the roundabout Giratoire Bel-Air follow signs for Questembert Centre\ Gare SNCF continuing on the D5 through 2 roundabouts and a set of trafic lights . At the third roundabout (post office) follow signs for Péaule and la Roche -Bernard, you will be on rue Cadoudal, Le Quatorze is 100 metres on your right.
From the East (Redon etc) turn off the D775 onto the D5 at the roundabout Giratoire Petit Molac following signs for Questembert Centre on the D1. At Giratoire de Rhé follow signs to Questembert Centre continue following signs to Centre ville, at the town centre (post office) roundabout follow signs for Péaule and la Roche-Bernard you will be on rue Cadoudal, Le Quatorze is 100 metres on your right.
From the South East (Nantes, La Roche-Bernard etc) turn off the N165-E60 onto the D1 after Peaulé, turn off the D1 onto the D1c following the signs for Questembert-centre, the D1c becomes rue Cadoudal as it gets into town, just before you get to the town centre you will find Le Quatorze on your left.
From West or South-West (Vannes, Roscoff, Lorient etc) turn off the N166 Vannes-Rennes road onto the D775 and follow the signs for Questmbert until soon after the turn-off for La Vraie-Croix: you will find the D1c and signs for Questembert-Celac. At the town centre (post office) roundabout you will see signs for Peaulé and La Roche-Bernard, you will be on rue Cadoudal, Le Quatorze is 100 metres on your right.
Le Quatorze has grey gates; pedestrian and car entrances. If we are expecting you, we should have opened the double gates. If not park ourside on the pavement and come through the pedetrian gate to find us, probably in the ateliers: go around the left side of the house to the back or try ringing the front door bell.
Its about 15 minutes walk, follow the main road into the town centre and then follow the directions above to find Le Quatorze.
