This spacious gîte for one or two persons is all on one floor, opening to a very sunny terrace. It is furnished and decorated with antiques, with a granite fireplace opening to both the kitchen and the dining-room.
In the country, it is independent from the owners’ house (a former water-mill) and you will be free to enjoy the quiet grounds around the preserved mill.
A 4-star rating for its amenities, decoration, and setting guarantees you a most pleasurable experience.

Description of Chambres D'Hotes:
This pretty gîte was created in a former stable and is completely independent from the mill alongside. It faces south-west and opens on a large, sun-trap terrace. The gîte nestles between a XVth century manor-house and la Vaudelle, a trout stream.
It has all the conveniences and amenities you’d hope for to ensure an enjoyable stay and include: dishwasher, oven and hob, micro-wave, washer and dryer. Gas-fired underfloor heating and a cheery double-sided fireplace (so you can enjoy the fire from the kitchen and the dining-room) ensure all-year-round comfort.
We have built a bridge across the river which gives access to our “park”, a grand name for the two acres of land where we have planted about 600 trees and where you can walk along the river.
Attractions:
The Sille lake and its man-made beach (swimming, nautical activities) is very close, so is the beautiful site of "Les Alpes Mancelles" (rock-climbing, canoeing, and St Céneri-le-Gerei,one of the most beautiful villages in France).Bagnolles de l'Orne (spa) is only an hour from us, so is Le Mans and its 24-hour race. But even closer, you'll enjoy the superb new museum in the Chateau of Mayenne, the Gallo-Roman ruins of Jublains, the medieval town of Ste Suzanne or the caves in Saulges (and their prehistoric treasures). But do not forget our walking paths (specially maintained by volunteers, we are proud of them!) or all the farm markets…Directions
We are at the centre of a triangle defined by the cities of Alençon, Mayenne and Le Mans. From Paris, take the A10/11 motorway and exit at “LeMans Nord” less than 2 hours later. You are then only 45 minutes from us.
From Great Britain, we are easily accessible using the ferries (Caen or St Malo are less than 2 hours) or the tunnel.
From Roissy Charles de Gaulle, there are direct trains to Le Mans, which take about 1h30. Then you can rent a car at the station. You can also check the Rennes or Tours airports.
Please, do not hesitate to ask us for an itinerary!
